Leading up to the Meet
Q: How can I help with the event?
A: Please contact the Volunteer Co-ordinator. They would be happy to hear from you.
Q: Why is only on-line registration supported?
A: On-line registration as a percentage of registered swimmers has steadily been increasing. In 2006 over 75% registered on-line. In 2007, we have moved to supporting only on-line registration to reduce data entry errors and make registration easier to manage.
Q: Why is there a limit on events and relays?
A: The limit on events and relays is to help contain the number of heats and thus the overall duration of the meet. With an expected attendance of over 200 swimmers for a one day meet this is an important factor.
Q: How come you don't have my favorite event?
A: Deciding which events to host is always a tricky business. Finding a balance between sprint and distance, and ordering thereof, is challenging. If you would really like to see a particular event please take a moment to contact the Meet Co-ordinator. The more input we get the easier some of our decisions are.
Q: What if I am not affiliated with a club?
A: Choose 'Unattached' as your club when registering
Q: How do I de-register from the meet?
A: If you need to drop out of the meet for any reason please contact the Meet Registrar. If the registration deadline has not passed you will get a full refund.
Q: I registered and paid on-line and received confirmation why do I have to check-in?
A: Check-in has been streamlined in recent years. In cases such as what you described all you need to do is verify your name is on the list of swimmers in good standing. Unless your records were lost or you payment bounced there is a 99% chance you will be on the list. Basically, if you are NOT on the list then we need to check something with you before you swim.
Q: What should I do if I am attemping a record?
A: Be sure to inform the Meet Manager at the start of the meet. We will need to know exactly which event(s) you are entered in so we can co-ordinate the extra timers needed.
Q: How do I delete a relay registration made on-line?
A: Contact the Meet Registrar indicating which relay you wish to remove
Q: How do I pay on-line if I have already registered?
A: Simply follow the link in your confirmation e-mail and re-submit your registration data. After you submit you will be re-prompted for payment.
During the Meet
Q: Can we come and go during the meet?
A: Yes. You are free to come and go during the meet. It is your responsibility to be present for each of your heats.
After the Meet
Q: Where are the results posted?
A: During the meet results will be posted on the end wall near the diving platforms. Please be patient with the officials. It takes a few minutes to gather, verify and print the results. In the days after the meet the final results will be published on this site.
Q: What if my posted results are wrong?
A: Please contact the Meet Manager. With all of the swimmers an timing data it is possible an error was made.
